Mazda just unveiled the highly anticipated 2021 Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Hatchback, featuring the SKYACTIV-G® dynamic pressure turbo engine and i-ACTIV® AWD system, giving it a powerful 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque, when paired with 93 octane fuel. The 2021 Mazda3 2.5 Turbo will be available as a sedan or hatchback, with a six-speed automatic transmission and AWD standard.
The MAZDA3 family is known for being an affordable, compact car that is actually fun to drive. For the 2021 Mazda3 2.5 Turbo, there is an available Premium Plus package and two Aero Kit options for the hatchback. The Aero Kits for hatchback include a front air dam, gloss black rear roof spoiler, rear diffuser and side sill extensions. With the Premium Plus package, you get the front air dam and rear roof spoiler in the hatchback or a gloss black trunk spoiler on the sedan, as well as:
- 360-degree camera system
- Leather upholstery
- Automated emergency braking in reverse
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Lane-centering function
- Additional Mazda i-ACTIVSENSE® safety features
There are also available BBS 18-inch gloss black forged wheels, which you can also add to any Mazda3 model.
The new 2021 Mazda3 2.5 Turbo should arrive before the end of the year, and expands the Mazda3 family with an engine similar to it’s Mazda6, Mazda CX-5 and Mazda CX-9 siblings. The standard Mazda3 2.5-liter four-cylinder will get you 186-horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque, for 2021 it is renamed as the Mazda3 2.5 S. If you prefer a manual transmission, that is currently only available on the Mazda3 2.5 S hatchback Premium.
